I think a lot of you can say the same. Rain has been in short supply for a while.
My husband asked tonight how badly hit by freeze, deer and red insects my daylilies were and since we live in a rural farm/ranching community I answered in a term he could easily relate to: I lost 75% of my crop this year!!
Therefore you may see some repeats in photos!
It’s Miller Time
And a closer view of the bloom
Mister Butters has been a nonstop bloomer
Purple Sails-it is hard to capture this adequately-these are 7-8 inch flat blooms
Green Rainbow
Tall Dark Stranger-sun photo
Blue Dolphin-better this year
Lydia’s Regal Robe
Enter Laughing again-this time with 27 blooms
Two Sues is being eaten ny the shrub rose-I see major trimming in the near future
Lady Dragon
Uncle Sam’s Cut
Strawberry Smoothie
Blackberry Dragon
Asheville White Winged Dove
And a yuck photo-lopidea insect is still on the move
