Only can answer a few of your questions: I've always had curtains with tub/shower combos. The trick is to seal the curtain edges to the tile/tub. This is best done with a thinner liner (a heavy one can be used, but might want to put a shampoo bottle on it to keep it there). Start the shower and point the head away from the open edges. Get in and by this time the tile will be a little moist. Run your wet hand along the back of the liner and stick it to the tile, tracing it down and over the inside corner of the tub. Never a water problem in 20 years. Had to train my DH how to do it when I married him though. We've had pocket doors with latches on the inside only. You can find the hardware at any home depot or lowes in the replacement door and window hardware areas for closets, patio sliders, casement windows, etc and install them yourself.

Hello everyone - happy Friday :) I have a question for this wonderful forum......... I am now thinking of using white glass subway tile in my shower for the walls. I thought we had made a decision to use Oceanside glass tile but the cost for 64 square feet was waaaay more than we want to spend so I am trying to compromise and get a look that I like but wont break the (already over) budget, sooooo we are only using Oceanside in the kitchen for the backsplash and using their matte 2" square tile for the shower floor as it blends perfectly with the existing floor tile and I am trying not to have too much color in the room  so here is my question (bet you thought I would never get to it didnÂt you lol) does anyone know which tile is best to use for shower walls  matte glass tile or "regular" glass tile  which one is easier to clean and which one shows the least amount of water spots. @Beth in my wife's words..."Those are so sexy!!!" That looks fantastic! We may want ours darker now that we see that. Here is the best picture I have of our sample, next to some ORB pulls, of course. :-) Bright lighting and close up. I think we may swing by and speak with our cabinet maker tomorrow and see about your suggestions on the dye front, or potentially paint instead of stain. We REALLY like how you can see the wood grain texture in your pictures. I also love your black door trim! We have been planning white trim with tricorn Black doors(Sherwin Williams color). We had been discussing whether we should just paint our cabinets in tricorn black too. HMMMMM..
