I really like the body color of the house. I agree that the trim is too pink. Are you going to repaint the whole house, or just the trim?

I don't know when my house was last repainted, but I know it has to have been ten years or longer. The house was built in the late 40's and has cedar shakes. Last summer, I painted the south and west sides, which both needed it. This summer I am planning on painting the north and east sides. My question, the paint on the north and east sides is in excellent shape. No cracks, chips, bubbles, or even fading (they match the freshly painted south and west perfectly). Do I still re-paint or do I wait until weathering and flaking begin?

It is difficult sometimes for us to assess colors via the internet. What we see may not relate well to what you are seeing. How do you like Pavestone? It is not as gray, but still pretty neutral. This should have reduced the purple. Operative word 'Should'. Lighting is different on every home and geography.
