Clown Parade starting out with 5 blooms open, the other 2 are in the top right corner and not facing the right direction

Neon Rainbow started with 4 blooms, picture is at awkward looking angle

I don't think I showed Prelude to Panopoly this season. It is doing the best it has in several years after I moved it last spring. Decent branching and bud count. I have a lot of short scapes and low bud counts this year, while some are doing better than normal.

Wiregrass Greenstar with short scapes, very silly looking with such large flowers so close to the ground. Never a tall daylily but this is rediculous, LOL.

A very vigouous lily, I believe it is Royal sunset, I must have 4 or 5 clumps more like this one scattered around, all starting from a 3 pk of bulbs.

It is a wonky season, Nancy, as some are blooming on the ground, some with few buds and scapes and others shining as though nothing happened. Rudy Funhouse looks tall. I like Smuggler’s Gold and Clown Parade looks to have lots of buds. Your lily is very vigorous.

Clown Parade and Rudy's Funhouse are my favorites of these. I am wondering if I am the only one on here that doesn't have Clown Parade! :)

Ewww, rats - I'm sure you'll win the war, but YICK to have them in the first place. I love the 'Silk Road' lilies. I really want to plant a bunch of oriental and asiatic lilies this fall. I had some gorgeous ember-red-orange asiatic ones called 'Avignon' at the old garden, but that variety is hard to come by now - I might have to try another similar one instead. I also had a lovely oriental called 'Bergamo,' that I think I can still find. And the "tiger" lily 'Sweet Surrender' is one of my favorites. The bulb catalogs are starting to roll in - I'll have my wish list made soon! Laurel

Seems like was hot and sticky all up and down the east coast today. I was really surprised to get such a humid day after last nights rain and cool weather. Rained again tonight. I just love all your lilies including Sumatra (which I also have) and Aruba. ZEUS looks like he is smilling sitting here on the couch. Great daylily blooms. I just love the hot red color on SILOAM SHOW GIRL, I pick it as my favorite. I also really love ANGELUS CURLICUE, nice glowing buttercup yellow coloring. I have DAVEO HOLMAN too and was very dissapointed in the bloom. Short scaped with normal sized (like maybe four inch) flowers. I was expecting more.

No help here Kay. The list of love to haves is always longer than the room for them. I actually like the combo of Perrymont with Magicial Realism like that myself. I know that there are always new iris that have to be moved after bloom to make some of the color combos work better. But that one works great.

Neon Rainbow is a nice capture. Rudy's Funhouse is an interesting color, but scapes look willowy.

Kate, I moved Smuggler's Gold last fall and divided it. It was good for it, I don't remember liking it that much and debated downsizing that one. Still need to get rid of one clump, but I will keep this one.

Brad, you may be the only one! It has been a long favorite of mine. For some reason the last 3 years it has added a few inches in height and become much better budded, pretty much what it is supposed to be, 30-35. One of those that puts on a bouquet every day when it gets going, but can bloom out pretty fast.

Mantis, Rudy does have rather willowy scapes, if it gets better budded, or more blooms on a scape at once, that may be a problem.

I love the name of Rumba Numba too. Davisson can com up with some good ones. This is the 2nd year for it, I have not seen the bud counts it should, but it has had some tough weather since it arrived.

Lots of pretties Nancy, My Clown Parade will do that too, most blooms center and to one side and some well away. I like Rudy's Funhouse for the height and nice big blooms even though it is willowy I do like it. Rumba Numba is a fun plant and like like the bright color....who's surprised about that?
