are morsag roses considered as baby roses,or they are roses similar to europeana roses,what are the diferences and similarities

OMG!!! What fabulous roses ROYAT carry! I've never actually visited their site before since I try to choose only one or two places to order to keep down shipping. I currently seem to be working my way through ARE's holdings and thanks to a gift certificate will soon be doing the same with HCR! Not that I needed any enabling, but I noticed that the glowing recommendation for Cl. Shot Silk on ROYAT's site came from someone in Columbus, Ohio... 2 hours north of me and in a different zone (Z5)! Is that a sign? : ) Jerijen, the plant I saw could be the problem as it was the potted mother plant from High Country Roses. I suppose one shouldn't use that as an example. I had always imagined DB to be a smallish flower on a smallish plant, but NOoooo! Honestly, it was tall enough to be considered a climber and the flowers were huge as well. Now that you've shown a reliable source, I may see what else they have for next year. I still wanted to buy some things from RVR this spring, but the ones I REALLY want/need are OOS. : ((

Another fun comparison: Left: RU, Distant Thunder, Own Root, I’ve had it about 1 month. This plant had the thinnest stems of the three, also had smaller root ball than the K&M. Very healthy, put out a lot of new growth Middle: Wayside, Molineaux, Bare Root, Dr Huey, also had it about a month. By far the thickest stems, but of course being bare root had to grow new feeder roots. Good progress, there’s even a bud. Right: K&M, Buxom Beauty ,Fortuniana, just arrived today. Thicker stems than the RU rose, also had a very dense rootball. Was trimmed short significantly to fit in packing box so most of the mature foliage is gone, but lots of new growth remains, even 2 buds. I’m very happy with all three providers, and thankful that I’m able to get hard-to-find varities in mid summer in great health!
