limewashing or painting (Romabio) the brick is a personal choice. Either way is fine w/me.

take a look at before and after so you get ideas of how it can look. Let me show you some examples.

I love the look of this one. But, you'll notice it's a lot more than just paint. The Pediment, the lighting, the front door, the porch steps and railing and of course, the beautiful flower beds and grass.

These two are done w/shake and painted brick

I like the taupe one mainly because of the brick path and the contrasting colors on the home. I think the shake actually looks nice on this one.

But this one has always been one of my faves. Limewashed brick w/white shutters, Dove gray shake. and of course, landscaping. Pediment front door addition?

this one looks a bit more cape cod-ish. white brick white siding, wood door, flagstone path

what about this look w/the Portico? black windows against all the white really make the look

here's an all brick limewash w/an updated front porch area. I love how this looks. landscaping the flower beds and doing a walkway makes a huge difference

I know this is all brick, but they did the Romabio Masonry in White on this one. looks like a french country home. you could copy this and do a white siding, no shutters

More modern type of look:

This one is basic. wider siding and painted brick, removal of balcony, all that was done. It's meh.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

Personally, I think this one below could be executed very well on your style. It's same type of roof and slight overhang. Don't exclude the garage doors from the makeover if you go this route. If you like it, copy it to a 'T'

the good thing about this romabio limewash, you can apply it and if you don't like it, hose it off within 72 hours. You could try it on the side first.

romabio masonry can be tinted any color.

the Romabio Masonry is permanent, but natural. will patina over time w/almost no touch-ups required. do not use a regular paint on brick.

The last option if the lime slurry for a heavier, more textured coverage.
