no, it wouldn't I mixed finishes in all my baths..looks pretty natural. I don't even think people notice..they just see bigger picture. Don't mix brushed nickel and polished nickel, or chrome and nickel, these are too close to mix successfuly. ORB is different enough from brushed nickel, and also gives that very neutral feel, it being dark..you should be fine. but you can also cross post your question in Home Decorating forum..there's usually where questions about colors etc. go. Or Bathrooms one..but Home Decorating has more traffic..you 'll get more responces

Hi Jan Moyer 4 years later! I have everything polished nickel because you are so right- other finishes don’t seem to work with it. (I do have frames for my paintings but they bring out the best in the painting so I’m not including that in my polished nickel everything else.) Now I’m looking for soap dispensers and I’m having a hard time as the pumps are chrome, brass, black or ORB. Any suggestions? Am I being too picky? Ty!!

I have never had an issue with European fixtures fitting in NA a good plumber knows how to do this but a bespoke company in the UK will not be cheap and I guess I am curious as to what you are planning in the whole bathroom. The faucet you show is not deck mounted so maybe start there but honestly by the time you pay shipping and the exchange I am pretty sure you can find abathrooms fixtures in NA and there is no way for you to know what the brass looks like from a picture on the internet. FYI bathrooms and kitchens IMO both need to be brought up to the 21 st century no matter what the age of the house is so some pics of your plan would be helpful/ You do know that pricing in in british pounds not US dollars

I love the color of bronze so decided to read more. Darn! Now I'm confused again. I read that natural bronze changes color to blue-green because it's a copper alloy...knew that. BUT, I read that oul-rubbed bronze is a fake finish that looks like bronze but has the advantage of not changing color. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Maybe the little nozzles in this shower head are the real thing or plain copper, while the rest of the showerhead is the oil rubbed bronze?
