I need inspired...Let's see some combinations
Comments (10)While we're figuring out the plants and colors that you have in mind, here's some links to a few of last summer's pretties. If you go to the Gallery and go back about 7-8 pages, there are lots of combos. Look for gardeners in your zone for best results that will work for you. Gottagarden's Side garden Your Garden's Climax Keesha's Garden Also search for the 'Red Bed' posts. There was a series of threads last spring featuring different colors. Search for Stevingen's garden, too -- lots of great combos in that one!...See MoreNeed some inspiration for master bathroom - French Spa look?
Comments (1)I think the beadboard is lovely! But I would paint it some color other than white -- will be richer, I think. Have you ever seen Ellen Kennon Gustavian Gray? The most gorgeous spa blue-green-gray with chameleon qualities. Maybe that on the ceiling, and either more of the same on the walls (it'll read deeper just due to the change in plane) or a slightly deeper tone? Or possibly a very grayed down lavender on the walls with a few pots of the lavender plant? Seems somehow very French... Love your fabric and think that'll work with many colors....See MoreNeed some inspiration...backsplash time...
Comments (27)honor- you are right, I think the samples seem gray and since the granite comes in tomorrow and we still haven't decided on tile, I guess we have officially given up on a Wednesday install! Or at least I have! Beekeeperswife- lol, well right now yours is in at the top of the list (in ivory), but I think we are going to order some more samples too. If I hadnt done a damask pattern in the other room I think I could pull the trigger but it might appear that I have a damask obsession (I do, a little) but so far its the only one we both tentatively agree on! I wish I would have ordered some samples earlier. Word to the wise, dont procrastinate like me! I also found that a lot of the handmade ones take like 8 weeks to get in so that rules out a lot due to my waiting so late. Oh well. At least I finally ordered hardware today. All my masking tape hardware is falling off and I cant get my doors open so I was forced to decide!...See MoreNeed some holiday decorating inspiration?
Comments (13)I have seen some really cool stuff on Pinterest. My computer is currently blocking some of my favorite pins. Look up "Christmas tree dress". Some of those are really beautiful for interior decoration. Here is something I think would look great on the front door and hold up pretty well in harsh sunlight. Wood Holiday Ornament Of course you could could use your own word and colors and use UV protectant spray on it. I also like the idea of a huge wooden monogram letter of your last name decorate in Christmas colors and a bow and a little bling....See Morejackowskib
