I don't know if you'd find this to be too much of a hassle, but you could do this... Go here and "paint your place" http://www.behr.com/behrx/workbook/. After you "paint" your exterior, use a program to capture your picture and save it as an image to your computer. Then insert the picture of your exterior that you just made and saved pictures of doors you are interested in using into a program like Word Perfect. Scale the door pictures to fit where your door(s) will go on the picture you just made of your exterior. Then try them out and see which door you feel looks the best on your house. I know the above seems like a way bigger hassle than looking at pictures of yellow homes with natural wood doors but you will be able to make a better decision if you take the time to do what I've written above. Good luck with your door decision.

I am liking christophern's suggestion about eggplant (purple and maroons go nicely together with grey) ... also consider a blue tending toward midnight-ish blue but brighter .... not as dark as the roof or trim. My 2 cents.

I think most of the non-yellow colors are too pastel. It took me a minute to realize some of them weren't white in different light. Keep in mind that bright sun will wash out the look of the pastel colors and over time they will fade away too. The Tame Teal is the only non-yellow I think has enough color. I'm not generally a yellow person, so I'd be more likely to use that teal or go even more blue or green. I think I'd like an admiral to navy blue.

Have you tried using the color viewer on the Benjamin Moore website? That might help you get an idea for which colors you like together. Our house used to be a similar color and we used Hale Navy and it looked great, but I guess you don’t want navy. We now have a different color house and just painted the front door BM Pomegranate which I really love. I actually think it would work with your house color, but you’d have to put them together and see.
