What Color Should I Paint My Front Door?

The house is a peach/cream color, and built in the 60's. It is located in Southern California.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I like the color they are now. Is that stained wood?

I guess you could paint them a bold salmon color, which would blend well with peaches and cream. Or navy.

Is that synthetic green carpet on the entryway? It’s not very attractive, in this picture anyway.

Correct, it is currently stained wood.

The green carpet has been removed, and it is concrete underneath.

A dark, bold emerald green could work well. Thanks everyone! Our painter uses SW so I was thinking decisive yellow or fun yellow. Thoughts on everything being yellow? Our door and the side windows are iron, so it might be hard to do the sidelights the trim color and just the door yellow. Not impossible. Just more expensive and it might not totally match the trim. Thanks!
