A couple of orchids for ID, please

Guys, gals and gurus all

Visited a National Trust garden over the weekend, and found these growing in one of the meadow areas. First thought that they were early purple orchid (Orchis mascula), but there were no dark blotches on the foliage.

This one is definitely NOT a native. Originally tied to the trunk of a Dicksonia antarctica, (traces of the sting is still visible). This is a very shaded part of the garden. There is a second species on the trunk but the white(?) flowers were finished.

TIA
