My daughter has space for a microwave in her kitchen island. The builder put a countertop model in the opening but it is awkward and there is enough room for either a drawer or a built in. The opening measures 27" wide and 18 1/2" high in a 30" framed cabinet.

What size would be best here? This is an old pic from before she moved in.
