I know all of us have daylilies we root for and this is one of mine. Hybridized by a friend it was my second daylily to open this year. This is it's 2nd year in my garden and the scapes are much taller then last year. And, as many of you know, I'm not partial to UF's, but this one is the exception. The petals are turgid and remain symmetrically placed, the green center is really green and the base yellow color from last years experience is colorfast (it's not hot enough now to judge this years color). Forgive my enthusiasm, but I'm excited and now know how it must feel for others whose seedlings do better then expected:
