What paint colors go well with yellow/blonde brick?

We bought this home recently and we love it, but we are not fans of the yellow/orange/brown mustard exterior color. I believe it was last painted in 2021. The black awnings will be removed, we’ve just been super busy with interior renovations that the exterior has been put in the back of our minds for now. First pic is from today, second and third pics are from October.

I plan on cleaning the brick to get rid of the black grime, would also like to strip the paint off of the front door and stain it dark brown. We like darker colors or natural colors, green is our favorite choice, but im not sure how it would look with the brick, we also like dark blues, but we’re open to almost any suggestions! (Not a fan of gray or yellows/orange/beige/browns)

I dont blame you. I dont like the mustard color either. Once you get your brick cleaned, look at it carefully, and pick a color from the brick itself, for the siding. I would go with the lightest color in the brick for the siding, and use your brown (in a brown to match roof), for the door. You may be able to use a green with your brick. Once its cleaned, you will have a much better idea of what might work.

Poor house! Well it's in good hands now - any of your "likes" could work, really. Maybe cos its natures favorite color scheme, green and brown is a perennial favorite, it always seems to work. I could see a very light buff (from the brick) for your TRIM, with a dark mossy green for the siding. I have both Blonde and Ivoire in parts of my house and ended up using Navajo White (the top color on the Blonde strip) on the ceiling. It reads white, but is nice and warm. It is so chameleon, I used it on every one of my ceilings throughout the house.

Is anything else going to change or just the trim? Linoleum changing, etc. There's a ton of wood here and some of it should be painted as well. For instance, you can leave the stair railing honey colored, but the spindles should be white. You can paint the wall paneling and trim a creamy white and leave the wooden ceiling. The linoleum flooring should be changed and the cobalt blue has to go. I'd also switch out the light fixture.

Here are pics of my Karndean LVP in Savannah Oak in my yet to be finished suite reno. Herringbone pattern for the main bathroom and planks everywhere else. Trouble is I had to get metal nosings for the stairs in brushed nickel cause Karndean doesn’t make a matching nosing for this glue down product.

I think a blue gray would look good. I wouldn't go too dark. I would also paint the garage doors that color. The white is uninspiring. Your roof looks gray, so you have a lot of options like the green shown above. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, but the yellow you have is too assertive, so as you said, tone it down if you do yellow again.

I agree -after washing- to limewash or paint (with masonry paint) a nice slightly off white. When doing the porch wall don’t paint the soldier course bricks on top and see how it looks. if it looks funny then paint them I would also not paint the slate caps on the stairs. Just my $0.02
