Low kitchen faucet pressure with new hot water dispenser tank
Comments (2)Thanks for responding. I took the aerator off, and still the pressure was low. The water has never flowed fast out of the hot water dispenser, so I can't say for sure that its pressure is low, but it does sputter some after I've run it for about 1 minute. I'm really baffled that both the hot and cold have low pressure. Any other ideas?...See MoreLow profile (short drop) bedskirt?
Comments (34)I just spent hours and hours looking for a 9" drop bed skirt. It should not be this hard!!! I bought the low profile box springs, aka bunky boards (where did they ever come up with that name!) for 2 queen beds for a loft with a very low ceiling height. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your posts. All my typical online shopping sites failed me, and I thought I checked Amazon, but perhaps not. Looks like the more expensive one there is the way to go. And according to reviews, I know I'll have to beware of color. Here is another alternative I almost went with as a last resort - a box spring "wrap". And as far as I could see, it's available in black, stone, white and ivory. Wasn't exactly what I wanted, but thought it would be better than the actual box spring I'd been looking at for over a year! The reviews seemed good. Just thought I'd throw it out there, but I'm gonna go with Amazon's 9" drop since I spent so much time looking for it!!! https://www.overstock.com/Bedding-Bath/Sleep-Plush-StyleWrap-Black-Fabric-Box-Spring-Cover/11552337/product.html...See MorePros and Cons of Low Profile Over the Range Microwaves
Comments (30)I did end up purchasing the Kitchenaid Low Profile microwave. I originally wanted the Zephyr Typhoon 30" Stainless Steel Quiet Under-Cabinet Range Wall Hood AK2100BS. I could have done without a microwave (I never use it) but another family member uses one daily and we have limited counter space to accommodate a microwave on the counter. I like the KitchenAid Low Profile microwave very much. It is very stylish and streamlined, creating a much less bulky appearance than our former standard size OTR microwave. There is a two setting option for the lights and they are very bright. There is a four speed fan and it is somewhat noisy on the highest speed, which I expected. The fan does a fairly good job at removing smoke / odors and I can actually see the cooking smoke / fumes going upwards into the exhaust fan but I still do smell some small residual cooking odors in the home. We have outside venting. I don't do wok cooking or anything extreme so it works for my needs at this time. If I can answer any further questions regarding this item, please let me know....See MoreLeast worst option for microwave placement--maybe low-profile OTR??
Comments (44)I am the OP. We visited an appliance store the other day that had real kitchen scenarios set up with working appliances. The microwave drawer was full of spatters, and I certainly wouldn't want to try to get down on the floor to reach in to clean it out. So, I've eliminated that idea. I think (not 100% certain though) that for us it is going to be either the GE spacemaker that hangs from an upper cabinet or a shelf like Darbuka has that is installed at the bottom of an upper cabinet. Darbuka--Qjuick soapstone question for you: Is this what your soapstone still looks like or has it darkened considerable over time? I love soapstone and have some elsewhere but as just too worried that it is so dark. Your looks much lighter and is lovely....See Moremillworkman
