Where can I source battery operated wall sconces for a bathroom?

I am currently upgrading a bathroom. The house is approximately 50 years old. I will not be rewiring as the walls in the bathroom are concrete.

Same boat here!!

I am trying to find rechargeable / wireless candelabra bulbs for sconces.

if your sconces use regular bulbs, you are in luck, as they sell them on amazon!

I am struggling to find E12 base/ candelabra ones. chexk ojr amazon- they have regular ones that be used in lamps, and sconces that use standard sized bulbs

I feel your pain because I live in an 80 year old building and am not allowed to add electric to certain concrete wall areas and ceilings. Instead, my contractor bumped the wall out by an inch or two and ran wiring between the new bumped out drywall and the concrete wall. It allowed us to add six sconces to the living room where there are no overhead lights and none allowed. Could you do this to the area of the wall where you want the sconces hung?

I'm curious what the current lighting scheme is in the bathroom and if you really need sconces. I can only imagine that battery operated ones are not so attractive. Were it not in a wet area, there are many attractive plug in sconces. Any pics of the space?

hi there! I've read somewhere that the best height for a wall sconce is the one that allows most of the people living in the house to enjoy the lighting from their normal positions without suffering glare from an exposed source (the bulb). So you can decide if that 66" would be from the socket or what. As long as all your family members, regardless of stature, get adequate task light. I'n not sure if you will even need the other 2 recessed lights in that size space. I guess it depends on how much light the fan will give. I have a bath that is 5 x 7 and we have the lights over the vanity (2 -60 watt) and a 4 in recessed light in the shower and that seems fine to me. But if you want them, why not have them over the center aisle? I assume the lights on either side of the vanity are good task lights?

I went to Ferguson, Sophie. All but one brand of vanities they carry is imported. And that brand's aesthetic was very "country." Kohler is making their vanities in Kentucky, but they are quite expensive. Please don't think we are lazy...some of us may have explored other options that were outside of our budgets. Looking at your profile, it says your typical project goes up to $100k (or am I missing a few zeros?). That just isn't plausible for some and I'm sure you know this. I buy mostly American made furniture, but even some of the major brands are sending production to Asia. Plenty of companies have High Point showrooms, but are getting their goods off container ships. Since you are a pro, I'm sure you know this as well.

I like the second one with the faucet, but the vanity is very cottage-y to me. Personally, if I had my heart set on that vanity I would choose a different faucet, and then a different sconce. I like the look of the first one but I agree that Edison bulbs are not going to be your friend for bathroom lighting.
