I did not post a couple of earlier blooms, so today I have 4 to show.

Fern Stone, poor thing has gotten moved last spring and again this spring so it is late, but I thought the bloom looks better than average. Not many buds and short though

Little Audrey always blooms about May 20, so pretty much on time

Malaysian Marketplace, not a lot of buds this year and shorter scapes

cheater bloom on Yoga Man, just got it this spring

Another cheater bloom, Graceful Melody. It was a gift plant, will have to see how it does.

I love Malaysian Marketplace. Unfortunately, it never did well for us so it left the garden years ago. Yoga Man is pretty. We have Little Audrey but I never noticed that it blooms early. I need to check it when I go outside.

The bloom on Malaysian Marketplace is so pretty! I never added it because so many people - even farther south - said it had low bud count and poor increase. Yoga Man is looking good! Mine will probably bloom next week.

You always manage to have the prettiest blooms even in the most horrid weather conditions...amazing. When I saw Buzz Saw I went 'ooh' and 'aah' but who wouldn't love ALL of them? What pretty ones they are. Others that I had a similiar reaction to were Adrienne's Surprise, Glitter Gal (and it's a late which gives it extra points) and Worthy Creation (goodness, it looks fresh as the morning dew!). I was going to list by name all the ones I love and then realized it would be all of them, so you get my drift...LOL. Sorry about the extreme heat...that must be awful to deal with. It's hot here too and we northerners aren't used to it, but not like you're having. When it gets past 90 here we all go jump in the lake (literally). I know about cats destroying scapes too. Fat Cat Nemo is like a bull in a china shop. He just plows his way through my gardens and has snapped off many a scape or bud. He likes to rub his bum up against the rose canes, can you believe it? Apparently the thorns scratch whatever itch he has...LOL. Celeste

I like Odds and Ends and the last NOID-I have Daring Deception too but it will be going this fall. Too much like other things I have, that get consistantly better coloring. Although it's usually lighter in my yard. It's kind of interesting to see the difference soil and climate can make!

I just love your striped roses. They're both so different and so lovely. Fragrant Plum looks great - there's so many flowers!! I really like Golden Jubilee and Masquerade!!! Okay what is it about Stainless Steel? :) Everytime I see a picture of it - it looks like it's been taken in the late evening. Does everyone wait til evening to take the picture - or is it just how the rose looks? That intrigues me. Love your roses!! Thanks! Carol

Thanks everyone! Kentucky, I always capture roses in their early stages because that is when they are most fragrant for me as well. Sharlene, Peace blooms are always interesting I can never get tired of this rose.

The Malaysian Marketplace has nice clean colors.Graceful Melody looks to be a winner. Nice post and hope to see more.

Malaysian Marketplace has been a favorite from the first daylily to bloom in my garden so that one is my pick. I was very unhappy when mine died, so I am glad to see it. All are pretty and it is nice to see other daylilies.

Nice to see the blooms starting for everyone. I had my first yesterday, but didn't get a chance to photograph it........I agree about Malaysian Marketplace. Such a nice face on it..........Maryl

Graceful Melody? Not in AHS database. Not good news about Malaysian Marketplace. Suggests that the March deep freeze is affecting more things.

Oops, thanks for catching that, Mantis. It is Graceful Medley. At least a couple other plants have fewer buds. Terry Lyninger bloomed today, never heavy bud count but only 5 to 7 buds per scape. Usually it is around 10 maybe 12. at least it usually reblooms.
