It's so hard to get us all together for Mother's Day, Father's Day and all of the birthdays, we are now going to have a family day!

That way, we don't have to hassle with fighting for space on a holiday, we can deal with everyones' odd schedules!

Hubby has asked that we have a menu that doesn't include him BBQing all afternoon (understandable). There are 4-5 families involved. We have cooler space for all. We have ages 1-76!

My thoughts are for everyone to bring their own drinks (everyone has different tastes and I only drink water!) and a salad of some sort from each family, and everyone pitch in for a deli tray to make individual sandwiches.

Any other ideas?
