yellow house with clay tile roof accent color for

Hello, we are getting our house painted. The house is yellow with a terracotta tile roof. The front door is covered by a portico with a curved metal roof.
The small accents above the bottom windows are typically painted an accent color. Our dilemma is that the portico roof also needs to be painted and that is normally matched to the tile roof color. We are are wondering if we should match the accent color to the portico roof color instead of matching the portico roof color to the clay tile roof color. We were thinking of adding an accent to the white trim above the bottom windows. We are thinking a brick red for both the portico roof and the accents. Would welcome any advice.

You might have better luck with google! My comment has nothing to do with two piece vs s-tile. We left a home with s-tile (which isn't perfect) for one with 2-piece, which isn't perfect either. There are problems with both. If one part of the S gets damaged, you replace the entire thing. I stupidly agreed that the HVAC dude could steal end tiles from the custom designed dog house for the roof, and he promised to replace them. Did that happen? NO! But I found many online, and if I have to do it myself, I will. It's not about the dog! It's the principal! We are missing two very visible tiles! Actually, we don't even have a dog for that special place in our newly purchased home, but we bought it intact, and now it's ruined! I'd love a dog, but there are mountain lions who would eat that doberman for lunch...... Ask your question to google. I bet you get some great answers! Suzi

I would change out the pillows on the sofa (or at least add a pillow) that has a print with some of the blue you want to incorporate into the room. I would do a lighter gray on the walls in the living room with a darker version of the blue on the accent wall, then I'd carry the lighter blue into the kitchen. I love yellow but I would only use it for accents on fabrics or art because its hard to find a yellow wall color like the one in your pillows that works well on walls. It is usually either too stark or too bright.

Get some paint samples of SW Dover White 6385, SW Creamy 7012, and SW Crisp Linen and perhaps some neighboring warm off whites. With Benjamin Moore start with samples of Woodmount Cream 204 and or the close to that chits warm off whites. Take a drawer front with you. This will require a few samples. It's impossible to recommend the right shade by viewing an on line photo. Don't worry your kitchen will be beautiful when done.
