Water saver toilets and older sewer lines

Our house was built in 1965 and the toilets were the older style that used lots of water each flush. The newer water saver toilets use so little water that toilet paper sits in one spot and clogs the sewer line. As most of you know the cost of having sewer line cleaned out frequently adds up. We used Charmin paper for years, but the corroded rough sewer line in older house was clogging frequently. Reluctantly we started using a toilet paper that disentigrates quickly after hitting water. The one we were advised to use was Angel Soft. So far so good. Thought others might learn from our mistake and avoid having sewer lines cleaned frequently.
