Can Anyone Identify This Eggplant Variety
Comments (3)I just figured-out how to imbed photos on this site myself so I'll try and help... Upload your photos to a hosting site, I use PhotoBucket for these types of photos - sharing - etc., (link below), because it's free. Once you have your photos uploaded and want to post a photo in your message all you have to do is go beneath the photo you want to share and click on "HTML Code," then hold the "ctrl" button down on your keyboard while you hit the "C" key. Then put your cursor in the body of your message where you want to add the photo (click it) and hold the "ctrl" key down again while you push the "V" key. All you're doing here is cutting and pasting the link to your photo. You can then preview your message and you should see your photo. Here's an example: I hope this helps. Comments (3)You are welcome. Lilies, Amaryllids, and Irids are my favorite plants. Currently I am passionately dedicated to Glads; which I consider the Queens of the Irids. Kindest regards from GERMANY....See MoreCan anyone help identify this succulent disease?
Comments (9)My first thought was rain spots, but why wouldn't the new growth at the center be affected? Hoovb, how quickly would that spread to plants on the other side of the house? Mai had a microscopic mite attack an Aeonium & other plants a couple years ago- not visible with the naked eye and no webbing. Exceedingly difficult to figure out. Have you tried clicking the leaves over a white sheet of paper? You can then examine the paper with a magnifying glass or loop. Might even see movement with the naked eye. I would also like to know about that stunning purple plant. Your plants are all beautiful from what I can see....See MoreCan anyone help identify this variety?
Comments (4)I'd suspect it is one of the dozens of "blue" azalea cultivars popular in this area. None are really "blue" flowered but have flowers in various shades of lilac/violet to purple - 'Purple Gem', 'Blue Moon', Blue Tit', 'Blue Diamond', 'Blue Danube', etc. My first choice would be 'Purple Gem' - it looks most like the photo. A visit to any local nursery that offers a good selection of rhodies and azaleas should provide you with some flowering examples to compare. Check out Swanson's or Wells Medina in Bellevue....See Moretheforgottenone1013 (SE MI zone 5b/6a)
