Blue Hawaii
Comments (12)Thanks for the comments - added Blue Hawaii after seeing one posted here, hope to return the favor to another hostaholic. This is a hard one to photograph and get the color right - I've tossed quite a few pics that aren't correct. Gesila, I'm sure mine was thru TC production and not a field grown division. Color was showing in second season, gets a little sun early in season till sumac leaf out (soon) and then it's in bright shade. Jan - that is Wood Poppy (Celandine Poppy (Stylophorum diphyllum). It comes up early and blooms thru May, but gets a few blooms later. Paul...See MoreBlue Hawaii: is this a problem?
Comments (7)Planted too deep for sure - or too much mulch pushed around it. Just take your fingers and move the soil away form where the leaves come out of the crown - tells you how much to lift it up and replant higher. Planted depth in 99+% of all pots I have seen recently are 1-2 inches too deep. Just look for the crown to be at the surface....See MoreBlue Hawaii
Comments (3)I have Blue Hawaii... it's not really looking fall-ish yet, but I'll try to get a photo when it does. Mine is only in its 2nd year in the garden... just starting to show a little maturity, i.e. - the leaf shape is starting to change a bit. But it has grown a lot since planting - definitely a vigorous plant....See MoreAnyone NOT having chipping issues with blue enamel on Wolfe wall oven?
Comments (22)@cindy_swetavage They are very inconsistent in how they treat people. It takes haggling back and forth. They always try to tell people that it is cosmetic. Glass shards around food is not a cosmetic issue. People have cut their hands on these shards. They should be replacing the range but not sure I would want the new one with corner fans. They used to do that if you were in the two year full warranty. They should at least pay for the whole replacement. They seem to be giving people a lot more trouble with this now when they are in the full warranty. i dont know if it will fix it. This has been an ongoing problem for more than 10 years. many people have been through multiple ranges. You would not be getting any type of newly formulated enamel. you might be out of warranty when it chips again You might contact your dealer who has more leverage than you do and see if you can get your money back. Please let us know what happens....See Moredjacob Z6a SE WI
