Help with distressed lemon tree

I bought a home in Arizona with a very distressed lemon tree. Lots of what I believe to be heat and wind damage. I removed dead limbs last year, and have been giving it citrus fertilizer and deep watering twice a week. I can see no evidence of pests, and have a lot of new growth, but some of it is distorted and warped. I have included photos here. I have never grown citrus before, nor have I gardened in Arizona. I am in zone 10b.
