Looking to balance the exterior of our house which we recently purchased.

Thoughts:

Continuing the sunroom roofline across the front of the house - this will add balance but will block a lot of the light inside.

Maybe using a pergola that follows the roofline?

Will be re-siding the house. Should we go with horizontal lap siding? Or board and batten up to the roof line and then horizontal lap siding on the dormer and the "tower"?

We will be replacing the roof and eliminating the skylight.
