I just repotted my staghorn fern, and now fronds are dying. Help!

I followed all the advice I could find regarding repotting substrate. It is a mix of mostly sphagnum moss, a coarse orchid mix, and a minimal amount of organic potting soil. The fern is in a wire basket lined with a coconut liner.

Previously, it was in a smaller plastic pot that it came in when I bought it at the nursery. I haven't repotted it before

I have had this plant for approximately eight years, and I have placed it in the exact same location where it has been the entire time.

I appreciate any help you can give me about why fronds are dying and what I can do to help my favorite plant.
