We are finally wanting to tackle an update of our kitchen and main bathroom. The project has been delayed for years and I am so excited to be starting! I have meetings with a few potential local kitchen designers over the next few days, but I have never hired professional help like this before. (We’re total DIYers for most tasks.) What should I make sure to ask about? We have a smaller budget than most people in our area and a few firms have already said no to us haha. One of the designers who has said yes works with specific cabinet lines - is that typical?
