Hello! I’m mid-kitchen renovation and I cannot pick a backsplash tile. None of them seem right! I’m currently torn between a warm gray (greige?) elongated subway tile, or a sage green fluted tile. I’d like to take the backsplash up to the height of our vent hood. On the long wall where the sink is, there will be 2 tower cabinets that go counter to ceiling once our counters are installed. Counters are a Brazilian arabescus marble.
Some background: 110 year old house, recently renovated to feel historic with modern touches.
II guess I’m mostly looking for validation that the gray/green fluted tile won’t look too busy and compete with the floors for attention. Thanks!
