Hi there, I’m moving with my fiance to our first apartment. I’m really struggling with how to tie the different wood colors together, especially through the dining room and the kitchen. Not sure what kind of dining set would look ok. I like farmhouse but the kitchen is too modern for that. maybe mid century modern? But again not sure what color wood would work with what the apartment already has. The kitchen cabinets are a really dark wood color with a hint of cherry. We are bringing along my brown leather reclining couch and recliner chair. I’ve included the layout. any other suggestions I’m open to as well. Thank you for your input,
