I live a few hours south of you so won't be of any help with local places but I know the business that I use can order just about anything as long as I know who the company who makes it is. If they need to do a special order then the shipping could be a bit extra but if it is what you wants then who cares? Try a locally owned reputable business. :)

I am so frustrated! I just lost my lengthy post when I went to submit! I will try my best to answer again. It's getting late, so my post will not be as detailed. First of all, thanks so much for your congrats! Ken you were right on with your name of that rose, Double Delight. You know your roses too? You're right about the end of August being a difficult time to provide perfect hosta leaves and plants. But as this fair is only during that time, they make do. Is it a rush. Absolutely! I want more! I only entered one to check out the competition, but I also had hail (twice) so that cut down my possibilities. Only wished I had also submitted a War Paint leaf. Stiff competition for those greens though. Had a Great Expectations leaf, but couldn't get myself to cut even one! Old_dirt, nothing is added to the water. Hosta leaves do well in water. Try it out! Thanks Jo. I do remember your gorgeous photo of GG. Mine was on the porch with little sun and was protected from the hail there. After the first hail storm, I just left it there. Twrosz, I am envious of your new garden space! Goodness Gracious will be a lovely addition to your hosta collection. The puckered leaf is not mine and I do not know the name of it. Anyone got any guesses? So Ken, the rose below won first in the orange class, and it is beautiful. Any guesses for the name? It was said to be a hybrid tea.

Wow James, I've seen a lot of reports from people missing one or two parts, but never missing the entire aluminum frame! And bolts! That's a first. Really a bad deal since you have to drive so far to fix the problem. You're probably way ahead of me, but once you get the missing box, I always recommend checking all the frame parts against the parts list in the back of the manual. The parts should have numbered stickers so you can make sure they're all there. It's rare, but sometimes people get halfway through the build and find the kit is missing a critical piece of framing. The kicker is, HF usually only keeps parts like replacement panels and clips on hand for fairly quick shipping; other missing parts can take weeks (or months) to get shipped to you. One person I know waited six months for part of the door frame. In that case it's better to throw yourself at the mercy of the HF store manager, sometimes they'll crack open a kit and provide the part you need. (Sometimes not.) But hopefully you're overdue for better luck, and your box of frame parts will be complete (as I think most are.) Yeah, we live in the desert (warm/dry) but still didn't want to bury our base in the ground, either. I think most folks attach the base to a wooden or concrete foundation. With your climate and the frost concerns, I can sure see your point. The HF greenhouse really isn't built to withstand a lot of snow load; the centers of the roof studs are the weak points. If that's a concern for you, I can point you toward some threads with ideas for extra interior snow bracing, just let me know.
