Now, remember I just post them. I don't necessarily agree with the answers! LOL

Apparently we do this many times a day in our interactions with others and studies have shown we do it more than we realize. What is it?

A: Tell lies. Some lie many times in an average 10 minute conversation. "The study, published in the journal’s June issue, found that 60 percent of people lied at least once during a 10-minute conversation and told an average of two to three lies."

Today's question is

Almost half of those surveyed said they do this regularly and more than 60% say it has helped their mental health. What is it?

"Dead beats", I heard a while ago on the internet. It was when I made a thread saying that millions of people don't use an option available to make 20%, the annual rate of fees charged on monthly unpaid balances by most banks on credit cards they issue. For some it can be 25 - 30%, the rates charged by many stores on credit cards which they issue.. I pay my bills, take care of my responsibilities. I'm merely making use of an option offered by the credit card company to every user of their cards. Call me a "freeloader", if you like - I have to lead guilty to that charge. ole joyful

I agree with all of them...terms for being drunk...in the old days they used to say "tight" which I though was funny since drunks are usually anything but "tight".

I haven't the heart to say anything other than those who said that word above ... ... and thankful that mine's working well without giving me any trouble. Glad that, at age about 16, after 6 mos. or so of using ciggies, liking neither the taste, nor as a tot during the Dirty Thirties' depression learning frugality, the cost ... I had sense enough to quit! Now, just under 80 years later, I think that my heart, lungs, gut, kidneys and other parts are showing the results/fruits of their gratefulness. ole joyfuelled

Here's what does it for me:

Exercise, including taking a long walk with Clementine

Watch a favorite movie with Clementine and Duchess and Navi

Cook a favorite dish

Visit with my family

Shop for something pleasant (African violets, shoes, new canning stuff, etc.) online.

Participate in the friendly helpful threads here, not the ones where people demean each other, but the ones where suggestions are given and experiences recounted, in order to help.
