Pool Tile Advice - Glass or Porcelain, Big or Small?

Hi, I've poured through the discussions and I know everyone has a different opinion when it comes to style, but I'd love to understand the pros and cons of bigger vs. smaller glass tiles for pool around factors like cleaning/maintenance, grout lines, salt/chlorine build up, durability, etc.

Specifically, I'm debating between a 2x4 subway blue grey glass tile or 1x2 glass mosaic (see picture). Is the darker solid color tile more likely to show discoloration / residue? Will the grout lines on smaller tiles be harder to maintain? Are all of the glass tile horror stories enough to try and find a porcelain option instead?

Here is the situation:

- 15'x40' shallow depth sports pool with integrated spa

- Saltwater chlorinator

- Tile would be on waterline (6"), top of the integrated spa border, and auto cover border

- Coping = neutral concrete pavers

- Surrounded by artifical turf

- Wet Edge Primera Stone finish -- pending tile, deciding between Grigio Treasure (grey one at top near bigger tiles), Tahoe Coast (blue grey one closer to smaller tiles) or Sapphire Treasure (darker blue one to side)

Thanks!
