DFW Dream backyard journey-new pool!
Comments (47)Ohhh trux......I'm so excited for you!!!!..I Know reading how worried you were!..It has turned out So Beautiful!!!..Please keep posting pictures!!! I "CANNOT" wait to see the Finale!!! In regards to, IF they would allow the Pool to be done 'before' the Addition, Regal Pools, will NOT even "think" about putting the Pebble Sheen in the pool YET....AND I totally agree with them with all the scraps of wood and shingles and the overall "construction" "Regal" Personally will not allow anything happening to the integrity of the gunite...IM IMPATIENT...and Want it NOW....but I totally Understand!!! They Warrant and Stand by their build enough to "deny" me the Pebble Sheen that I "desire"...and I totally "Respect" their reasoning behind this!!!.. Even at this stage in the ENTIRE project (which is a Huge Build).....Regal Pools has been so "Patient" with me (Again..NOT an easy task!)...and I totally Trust them!...hard to say that about some builds!..But .. seriously...Josh has been a God Send! Keep posting Trux!! I cannot wait to see the finished Design!!!...See MoreKaty Oasis Project Finally Complete!!! - Infinity, Grotto, Slide
Comments (13)quote" We had WAY to many problems "quote I'm sorry to hear that. However, in spite of this I can assure you that every new day of pool ownership will distance you from the experience. I'm confident that the sweet taste of your new backyard will offset the bitter taste of the process it took to get there. Your poolscape is truly AWESOME, congrats on the final product. Thanks for supporting the industry with your pool purchase. Rest assured that there were many others besides your builder who reaped the reward of your investment in the pool. Without yourself and the other pool owners who support us, myself and my competitors, the Mfg's of pool products, and the wholesalers and retailers who bring them available to the general public would be in a heap of hurt. Comments (2)These pictures are not much helpful. What you need to do is stand in backyard facing your house. Line up with the center of the scene (which is probably the center of the house. Be far enough from the house that you can show the entire area of the proposed patio and surroundings, with the first floor and roof of the house in the background. If you see a lot of sky you are too far back. While at that position, take a series of slightly overlapping pictures (roughly about 3) that pan from far left to far right (we'll see your neighbor's houses in the background.) Don't substitute a computer generated panorama. Don't move camera location between shots ... only pivot....See MoreNeed help in creating our backyard (hot tub) oasis!
Comments (47)Thank you @HU-257553069!!! :) By 1/3 you mean all same size slabs but all set subway tile style to every third? just trying to make sure I understand what you describe... I looked at Permacon too but the Colors were busier and not as light (the ones in the display).. I thought lighter would look nicer. There’s the Blu smooth in Beige cream too but I wasn’t too sure if there was actually too much yellow for the cream/grey/orangy/browny colour of the house. yes was thinking of adding a sectional in the top Right corner with a table and high potted planters. i Also want to add 2 lounge chairs, and a fire pit... not sure where to put everything. the hot tub will be on the left as pictured. There will be 23 feet of interlock up to the first column (from the house). After that 4 feet from the column (as it is right now). The set up is stressing me out too. Is it okay to have more than one seating area? And to have areas that do not necessarily face each other? finally, not sure if you have an idea but I was going to do a 3 post pergola over the hot tub (with a bar facing the river) but I am thinking the post near the corner sofa will be in the way (Of people in the hot tub, on the sofa or sitting at the bar). What about a half pergola (only 2 posts on the Left, facing the left neighbo)? it would give some height, some warmth with the wood and something to hang lights to. Apologies for the really long post!!...See MoreJennifer Svensson
