I am not sure, but wouldn't Mod Podge harden to the point you wouldn't be able to pin things through it? Or maybe I'm not quite sure what kind of base you are dealing with. I'd say if the original was made with spray glue, then I'd go with that again. Good luck!

Oh wow, I really do hope that is the case, echoflooring! How does one determine if the hollow sound is due to dips, or if it is due to adhesion problems? glennsfc, our substrate was flat to within the manufacturer requirements. The installers used a laser, and leveled areas with the appropriate concrete filler. If we were to use the injection technique to fill, where do we stop? There are seemingly hollow spots in MANY areas, not just one or two. There are so many spots - I'm guessing 30 or more.... thoughts?

Ok, so about 4 months ago i subbed a wall paper removal job to some painters i know. they washed the glue and sanded, as well as primed the walls with an oil based primer that the customer had chosen by recomendation from the paint store. Now, 4 months later i am getting calls about the glue bleeding through the paint, after running a humidifier in that room. the customer noted the stickyness of the glue and how it was all over the walls. i dont know what primer was used, but having personally done multiple wallpaper removal jobs with absolutly no problems, i am at a loss. so, i wounder why this happened, as well as what should i do now? do i need to remove the paint and start all the way from the beginning? or should i just prime it with 2 coats of the guardz primer and repaint? like i said i am at a loss and i want to make this right. any ideas?

Carrie B... imgstone.net i am also in the Philadelphia area and we had our tops done by IMG, (imperial marble & granite) and they did a fantastic job. they also did "beagles do it better" at GWer... if u go on their site, her kitchen is their home page and the only one in the gallery. i am pretty sure they did not do her island, but did all her perimeter tops, if i remember correctly. if you didn't contact them, give them a shot. we did not buy our stone from them. their saleman took me to a couple of places and i choose a stone elsewhere and they fabricated it. they were very easy to work with and we were very pleased with the whole experience. and yes, i was there for the templating, which they recommended. if u have any questions, please feel free to ask..
