I have a silly bird that built a nest directly at the soil line of a commercial nursery pot, covered by the canopy of a growing Gardenia. If someone waters that plant manually heavily, it is going to drown the nest. Is there an appliance I could buy that would hold the nest and stand it off above the soil line? I am imagining a concave round soap dish, but with long legs that point to the ground.
