In his 'Distributional Checklist' Kiff lists them all as being endemic to Columbia also as does Derek Butcher in his notes. Here is a quote from Derek's work about T. buseri. Type. If it hasnt already pupped try and get them at 1/2 the size of mum. That way they have a better chance of making their own root system quicker. I forgot about my one and just cut off a pup the size of the mother. You look like your doing pretty well judging by how healthy they are. My Red Form is sending out a pup only after 18 months cause i have it in a small pot. Time for a repot i think. All the best Tim

I'm going to guess it may be a species of Racinea. Since I'm not really familiar with this genus, I'm only going on the FCBS photos. If you click on "FCBS Bromeliad Species Database" at the bottom of the results page, you'll get another database which will give more information about locale. Enter Racinea and Colombia and it will tell you which ones have been collected there. Unfortunately they don't all have photos. It's also possible that this could be another Guzmania species, but I couldn't find a match there. If all else fails, you can email your photos to the Bromeliad Identification Center at Selby Gardens. They should be able to make an ID from what you've shown.
