last year

Has anyone heard from AprilNeverEnds? She came to my mind today. I hope she checks in soon. I can’t remember if she is still in Israel, or in US? Thinking of her mother, too.

I hope she's ok. She has such a kind heart and I just adore her.

I know she's had a really rough series of events. The last I knew she was back in the US but her mother's health was so precarious anything is possible from there.

drtomato, Yah, same thing here across the water (Wisconsin) We get 2 inches of rain which then freezes solid and then we get 6 inches of snow on top of it. I still have around 3 feet of snow/ice over the top of my garden. I don't start my seeds until April, but it would be nice if I got some sign that summer was actually coming before starting them. It's interesting you mentioned Tiny Tim. I started some about a month ago because I was bored and I'd heard they can be grown as indoor plants, since they only get to 12-18 inches high. They're about 3-4 inches high now. Are you going to plant them outside, or are they for hanging pots or something like that? Mike

OK, I started using 1 gal milk jugs because aeration in 5 gal buckets with one, or four hoses (as I use) was hit and miss. It is imperative to get lots of O2 to the critters. Using gallon jugs, I brew 2 of them each day...each with 2 aquarium air pumps (2 hoses each). These supplies more VERTICAL aeration (which more effectively affects the growing biology). Because it is so easy to keep it going continually, I brew those 2 gallons of tea EVERY DAY for a few days each week depending on the weather forecasts and so forth. Basically, I deliver fresh-brewed tea to my plants/soils about 5 out of 7 days each week. When I get bored with it, I put the procedure on hold for a few days. Advantages: Less clean-up with continual brewing, routine-like 20-minute procedure. Don't have to spend much $$ on pumps to get proper amounts of O2 dispersed properly. Disadvantages: none. Getting more O2 to the entire brewing biology is my main concern. After the routine becomes ROUTINE, it all makes a lot of sense.

Okay, I'm fat now and I'm back, Linda, and figured it out I guess. If only subsequent attempts yielded the same results as the first one, this game wouldn't be so frustrating. The first time I clicked on the blue button, I got "cannot click on blue background." Subsequent times, allowed one click but not more. Anyway, it occurred to me to try the other buttons after it allows that first click on the blue button. So, the sequence is blue, then red, then green. The password is ninty-one. Wouldn't you know it's mispelled? I wanna kick this guy's butt. LOL

Thanks everyone for your help!!! You are the best!!! Thanks Lazy gardens. I really like that green. That is a very good point about using a less muted color with the white quartz. clt3-the 700 sq feet is actually the dimensions of the bathroom floor, walk in closet floor, and shower. But I could use a cheaper tile for the floor. I have a sample of porcelanosa in white that could work, depending on the shower tile. Pal, pipdog, roarah - the reason I like the fireclay. pj and heath is that their not perfect and have subtle variations in the color. Is dal more perfectly cut? Hi Terri-I love the penny round, but this shower is so huge, I'm worried it'll be too busy. But I am thinking of using it in at least one guest bath. It is so pretty and cute. Mayflowers - Fireclay is sending another foundation white out. Thanks for the heads up on that. I have a ton of samples coming. I am also thinking about their brick tiles on the fireplace.

I've been thinking of her as well. I tried to send a message, which I had done previously. In the past she posted or replied to the message . Now with the wackadoodle houzz messages, I am not sure if it goes through or if she will see it. So I think I reached out but I am not sure. I do hope she and her family are ok.

@salonva - I had someone send me a message here earlier today. While a copy showed up in my email, it is still nowhere to be found on this platform. Messages and notifications are very glitchy here. Perhaps like Bunny's experience it will show up next year. 🤷‍♀️

I think the easiest way to catch her attention would be to go to a thread you know she posted in and tag her in a comment. I would do it but I can’t find any thread of hers or a comment by her.

Amazingly I got notification in my email that she wrote back. Of course, I can't access it on houzz, but I CAN access it through my email. I am running out but she said she will post in a bit- she said she just landed back in Israel and once settled a bit will reply.

She thanked everyone for asking about her.

I don't have much more to add but I am so relieved to hear from her.

I guess she'll be posting here one of these days soon.
