I live north of Boston and forsythias here didn't bloom this year. The leaves are coming out but no flowers appeared. I don't know how widespread this situation is. I can't recall a year when the forsythias didn't bloom and we all certainly miss them. Was it the prolonged drought last year or the single-digit cold snaps this winter? They are usually tough as nails. Did anyone else experience this?
