Have the Pomona Sweet Lemon and the Cocktail Grapefruit produced decent, edible fruit for you yet? I have a young Pomona, but am still waiting (since last season) for a mailing nursery to get the Cocktail back in stock. I hope the Oro Blanco fruit taste much better for you this time around. What's up with that?? Lol..The only good thing about it is that the cool nights helped my Santa Teresa Lemons set some flowering buds. I hope to get some lemons that stay on and mature this time around. The cooler weather has not been good for my tomatoes. I usually have ripe tomatoes by this time and my garden tomatoes are still small and green. Mike, what a stunning orchid! I am so happy for you that it finally bloomed after three years! I look forward to the key lime pie pictures in the near future, I do not envy you getting him to fit back in the house this fall though.. :D We had some rain showers earlier in the week but I was able to fertilize all of the trees on Friday. Your seedlings are looking good Kelley! I let mine dry out and die lol. It did get up to about 6 inches tall and I loved seeing it grow but I realized I am not attentive enough if I do not love the fruit. And my seedling was a mystery hybrid! If I grow a seedling true to type of a fruit I am certain of its taste and flavor, I'll love it until it fruits! I do have an avocado seedling however and those I love. I have two different ones from seed which seem to leaf shapes different from each other! I'm excited to see how the trees turn out!

That is what I would love to see on trees I see. Our patio citrus comes soon. I will check. I will have the choices of Calamondin, Key lime, "Satsuma" Meyer lemon. The satsuma is rarely seen. No rootstock tag and when I ask they can't find out. I am aware that some places mark their trees very well. When Trace bought his Meiwa kumquat for in ground Georgia they sent him a tree on rough lemon. The tree did find but the rootstock died an pealed. It took awhile for the top to dry out and die. It took him a while after to find out what rootstock it was on. It should have been on PT, or FD, If it had been marked he would not have bought it. It took me qute awhile to find out that an unmarked lable of 'Satsuma' Owari Steve

ORANGE: Panzarella orange POMMELO OR POMMELO HYBRIDS: Oroblanco hybrid - fruiting LIME, LEMON OR LEMON HYBRIDS: Key lime - fruiting Meyer lemon - fruiting PONCIRUS TRIFOLIATA HYBRIDS: Citrandarin (Poncirus trifoliata x mandarin) in ground - fruiting Citrumelo (in ground and used for rootstock) - fruiting Tai-tri (Taiwanica x P. trifoliata) in ground and used for rootstock.
