Which furniture arrangement to do?

last year

I'm torn between two arrangements of sofas in our living room. There are 2 large ones that are identical and one smaller one.

Arrangement 1: large sofas facing each other across a large coffee table

Arrangement 2: large sofas forming an "L" with the smaller sofa facing one large sofa and perpendicular to the other one.

The ceiling fan will be replaced with a very wide light fixture, attached.

Please give me your opinion!

Split up...but it looks like they should be flipped....whichever wall is longest should hold the low dresser, shorter wall, the tall one....it's hard to tell which wall has more space in your pictures.

Yep a to scale plan all measurements clearly marked is the only way to get help. Also a bit more info like is there a TV going in the space , how many seats do you need in the LR and the DR What is your style. That flooring is going to drive the bus so we need that marked to scale on your floor plan too.

I don't have an easy route to a mock-up right now, but I think I'd be thinking about an L of furniture along the left wall and then extending out into the room (whether a sectional or two couches or whatever). That encompasses TV and fireplace, clears both sets of doors, and leaves room for a coffee table and some other options, without impinging on any of the walkways.
