I ordered a dozen Covington plants for me and Jennifer.

About the only time I use them is Thanksgiving and maybe Xmas.

As nutritious as they are I should probably think outside the box and eat them more often.

In other news , I put out around another 100 toms in the east garden and over a dozen cucumber plants and a few more yellow squash.

All my cool season stuff is coming up now , all the greens ,carrots , beets...and even lettuce and green peas.

The corn is up. Waiting for the beans to come up.

The overwintered spinach is making quite show now but will probably start bolting pretty soon.

I have spring spinach coming up to take it's place later.

I'm waiting a little longer to plant okra and cowpeas ... around May 1st for those and then winter squash , cantalope , whatever melons...and the peppers.

I think i'm on track with things for the time being.

Hopefully no more late frosts....and some rain in the right amounts.

And those winds are wicked , both north or south.
