Need help setting up living room
Comments (6)Is this your room? Having the sofa and chairs against the wall makes for a less friendly looking and disjointed room. Can you actually reach the coffee table (which I love) from any of the seating? I would try pulling all the pieces closer to the center, place a skinny sofa table behind the sofa and plants behind the chairs if necessary. The chair posted above is quite vibrant and may take over everything else in the room. I like the print, but maybe in a fabric less in-your-face. It would be helpful to see photos of the room from further back and framing the fireplace so we can see the distance between things more accurately....See MoreHelp with living room set up/design
Comments (4)Nice rental! Most easy to work with a 3-seat sofa and 2 armchairs, and they'll easliy transfer to your next home. Use a big area rug to ground them and specify the area in front of the FP as the gathering area. It should slip under the front 1/3 of to-the-floor seats, and any leggy pieces should be entirely on it. Good spot for TV left of the FP over a credenza 25% wider than the TV. Worth it to move connections to get the best arrangement for your room. Looks like the dining is in the end of the room. If you are a family, try a bench or banquette on the wall with a trestle or pedestal table and chairs. Replace the can light with a chandelier. The kitchen wall and the wall perpendicular to the front door will serve well with casegoods and art or mirror. I would use a tall piece opposite the fireplace to counter balance it. Once all that is done, let's look again and tweak with a coffee table, a bench, etc....See MoreNeed help with living room set up.
Comments (6)I personally like a sofa and two swivel chairs. That way, you can position the chairs where they are best for conversation, but they can turn toward the TV when needed....See MoreHelp with Living Room Set Up - Coffee Table, End Tables..?
Comments (49)But I am looking for some black jute baskets to put my extra couch throws in. I know I want black accents so maybe those coffee tables would be good. I’m a Libra so I’m VERY indecisive 😭...See Morejackowskib
