I am growing Marigolds for the first time this year!
1) When saving seeds at the end of the season are the seeds mostly true to the flower you save them from? Or are they a chaotic mix from any other Marigolds growing nearby?
2) Assuming good seed saving practices, how are the germination rates the next year and subsequent years?
3) Do you find that Marigolds are pest deterrents such as squash bugs, squash vine borers and brassica caterpillars in your garden?
4) Do you have any special ways of enjoying the flowers/leaves other than their beauty in the garden?
