I just love the quirky and unexpected. I have planted 2 toilets for the yard...both have gone by the wayside. I might have to do it again as it has been a couple years since my last one. I don't have a picture, but it had tons of vinca vine spilling over the edges of the tank and I had daisies planted in the bowl. My original idea was to have a planted bathroom out in the yard. Toilet, sink & tub. I never got further than the toilet though.

I don't think I planted it upside down, but I have a rooted cutting from last year (I think its a Petite Negri that George gave me) that grew straight out parallel to the ground about an inch then made a 90° turn as if trying to wrap itself around the trunk. It grew another 5 or 6 inches, but never made a significant turn upwards. I'm not sure what to do with it this year. Here is a link that might be useful: George's Reference

We watch a lot of the History Channel as well as the Discovery Channel. I like PBS shows, love to catch a cooking show of Julia Childs...she is a hoot to watch. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to catch a quilting show on PBS, I can't seem to find out just when they are showing! Deb
