My one advice is, don’t try to be matchy throughout your house you will get stuck in a trend and fall flat. Do whatever you want in each room, it will bring so much more character and charm throughout your home ❤️ don’t worry what finishes are in your bathroom versus kitchen. My kitchen does not match my bathroom at all totally different colors and finishes.

As far as paint colors go, can you post the full bathrooms? It’s hard to see in your photos!

I haven’t seen your other posts, but your faucet looks great in this first pic.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting More ...I did not have any pictures of the faucets "installed"  in any of my  previous posts  and at the time when I had  post this , It was the " first " time actually seeing them in myself ? Also we're going backwards here ...im finished with the faucets & you already mentioned something about that.

@Design Girl  You're right ...I was afraid I'd get sick of everything " all" black & gold ?! I thought it add more "visual " interest if I had another metal ( even though it's a powderoom) Thank you so  much  for your feedback i really appreciate it  !! Great choice! Looks good, what type of style are you going for? Modern, mid century, mid century modern, transitional? It will help me on paint selections as well as any other ideas I have for your powder room.

You can even mix them, I like that too because then you don’t get stuck in an era or a trend

@Design Girl I like "  mid-century modern , modern organic, & Transitional  styles for my home. The bathroom I was thinking of doing fun modern " artsy bold"? I'd love wallpaper however I'm not sure I'd be able to pull it off myself?Might need to wait so for now I was thinking jus a different paint color ? Something a bit darker but worried bc of floors ? 

Also yes I love mixed metals...That's why when I found that bathroom  light  thought i just I had to get it bc it had all 3 that I needed in there (  polished nikel, Champagne bronze & Black )  I was worried about getting the trapped of having just the 2 ( black and gold) ? 

 I'm a bit stuck now on accessories? I don't know  what color or mirror I'm getting so it's making it a bit tough I should of bought that first before getting " Three " sets of different accessories to try ? lol Plus if I wallpaper idk if towel rack would look right on my wall. Yes of course send me pics!!! Also I think I have an idea for your wallpaper situation what if you did half wall paper half bead board for example this? Just what I mean doesn’t have to be this specific color or wall paper! I think this would look great!

Your flooring and sink is already very similar and this type of bathroom is timeless!

@Design Girl I love that idea about the " half bead board "! I didn't know what it was called before lol but I never considered it bc it looked really hard to do ... I guess could hire someone I saw them where stuck to the wall but not sure how that hold up ?

im trying to gather all my accessorie " sets" together & I'll show a picture of them of all. I kinda have an idea but not sure yet? So many ways to spin it ? Well Thank you again!

it should be easy to do, use a brad nailer and some construction adhesive, you should easily be able to do it yourself, im not a dIYER but i think i could do that haha!!

Also do you know where I should start do about the bathroom accessories?  I what a plan thinking black w a gold mirror?  or maybe all black accessories except the toilet paper holder do gold n mirror ? I'll have to show uts really hard to explain ideas in my mind lol !

Can you send me the type of wall paper you are thinking of and then we can go from there? I think starting with the wall paper / paint color is best then we can choose mirror colors etc. right now you have the polished nickel faucet, we can also mix some metals with that however my first thought is let’s stay away from a black mirror because you do have a darker colored floor. Send me some wall paper ideas and paint color that you’re thinking of

Hi I agree only thing is this...They want to finsh up the job & still & one of last things to be done is accessories ! I'll show u some wallpaper ideas not sure on paint jus thought a darker color then is now a few shades maybe? But I don't have time to do that " right now" in a pickle here Should I or do I have wait to put in these accessories?  Can I wallpaper afterwards if I do? Thank you very much

@Design Girl Here's a few I really like the Kelly Weistler " i think that's spell her name' & at i first liked the " Gucci tiger" one but not sure now that's when i was thinking  of doing a gold sink but jus an idea? Oh & that's the Mirror i was going to do since it's " middle century mod " like the light ?

Yes you can definitely wall paper after, and by accessories what do you mean, light fixture mirror, toilet paper holder?

You’ll just have to take the light fixture off the wall to install the wall paper.

I think for the wallpaper i personally would go a bit more neutral, I think you will get tired of the gucci tiger quickly. What do you think of this? I think this color paint, with this wall paper and ur faucet would look great, something moody yet still timeless. Let me know what you think!
