I think you should go over the brick, but NEVER USE ACRYLIC PAINT OVER BRICK UNLESS YOU WANT A MAINTENANCE NIGHTMARE!!!!!

The product you want that will allow the brick to breathe and so your paint will not peel is LIMEWASH or MASONRY PAINT. Frankly, this is mentioned on this forum every day, where have you been?

IMO you are instantly devaluing your home not to mention now you have decided to take a very easy to care for exterior and make it a never ending job to care for.

China White gets my vote.

Are you keeping the cream trim? If so, I would go with B.M. Simply White. I am not fond of China White, as it looks dirty in certain light. White Dove can look cold.

I, too, love your brick color.

I like both China White and White Dove. I can't see a difference so I'd choose whichever one is darker. I love white houses, but of course they will show dirt than other colors, so a darker white will help.

I'm not too fond of your existing brick color either, and I like the China White option because it's less harsh than the stark white, but yes please make sure you use a paint product that is intended for brick.

Unless you house if just brick on one side, I think you have made a huge mistake. Going forward make sure you get the right product on the brick.

I vote for China White.

Most painted brick needs regular repainting, and compared to removing the old paint, it's typically the lesser evil. Just be sure to use the right paint.

The right paint to use for exterior brick: Use a mineral-based paint or a silicate paint that's designed to be breathable, and is recommended for brick, such as the brand KEIM.

I didn't see if you answered whether the brick only is being painted or brick and trim? I assume the windows are white vinyl?

The windows...is the color a cream? That's what it looks like to me, anyway, on my monitor and is why I suggested B.M. Simply White for the bricks. It also works well with gray roof. This idea:

Front door...historic color, B.M. Somerville Red. It was on my front door for 25 years...gorgeous color with white.

I’m confused. If you look at the Benjamin Moore site, Sea Pearl and China White are different names for the same color. I am surprised that 1) anyone at the Benjamin Moore store didn't tell you that they are the same color and 2) the sample came out so differently since it’s automated https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/oc-141/china-white

Sea Pearl is OC-19 and China White is OC-141.

Also be aware that the color changes based on season and time of day. China White is a soft white in the bright summer light, but is definitely off white against snow in winter. White Dove can be really stark in the bright sun. So, it depends if you want a white white house or not.

Would suggest that you go on the brighter white side.

Painted my all brick house 15 years ago and it looks as good as the day I painted it. So happy we did it, and it sold the first day on the market. Choosing the paint color was a challenge and ended up going through a number of quarts, the outdoors really changes it dramatically.

I used Sea Pearl on an exterior and it looked just like your White Dove does. I would check the formulas that you got. I hope you didn't get them color matched in a different paint brand, as most of the time you don't get the same color.
