Prefer Moen fixtures just wondering if there is advice to make sure I can have continious hot water. Do I need thermostatic mixing valves to help shower temp. to remain constant and I have heard they require a single handle control. I will only have a rain shower head 10" and a hand held shower head.

Thanks, as I've had it apart yesterday, a take-down and reassembly of the valve position (rotation) should be under 15 minutes. This is one of the (difficult/complex) Euro designs.

My best guess is that the hybrid does not let you adjust the water pressure? But perhaps you can set the temp and leave it when you turn the shower off? But that is just a guess. I couldn't find any of that technical info on their site (I'm sure you looked as well) I would assume that whoever is selling you this manufacture should have that info. I have never heard of them, but I do see it is a Canadian company.

I had another go at getting that chrome cover off. It was silicone'd in place :) Looks like my mixing valve is connected with PEX for the Hot, Cold and up to the shower head. The connection down to the tub spout is soldered copper. The other side of the wall is in a laundry room and the wall area is clear. I did find a video that showed the procedure for cutting the wall and replacing the mixing valve. I am not sure I want to tackle replacing the valve at this time. That's a good project for when I have a whole day available. I would have to borrow a PEX tool. I wonder if the threaded on connectors could be spun without cutting the PEX? Would that destroy the PEX seal? I have all the pipe soldering tools and copper pipe fittings. Here's a couple pics of the round brass valve/mixer and the valve itself.
