You know grout isn’t waterproof and I see no waterproofing in the area where you removed the tile.

I'm not posting here looking for help instead of googling. It's not available anywhere but thanks for the snark @Staxand @shirlppThe "sources" you mention do not have the correct item. I've spent many hours searching both online and calling suppliers.

Also, yes, there is waterproofing in the area that the tile was removed. It's laticrete hydro ban which is an olive-grey color.

If you don't find one, call B&W Tile or Subway Ceramics and see if they have a color in their line that is a match to the Daltile white. (It's super common so they should know.) They both make a 6"x6" and at least Subway makes a 3"x6" (guessing B&W might too but not seeing it in their catalog). If they can match it, it's probably worth the cost vs. searching all over the place. Also check eBay if you haven't already--lots of new old stock vintage tile pops up there.

The board is waterproofed with Hydro Ban, but how did you tie in the waterproofing to the tub? You said they did it incorrectly, so how was it corrected?

I don't see how this particular design can be properly waterproofed. IMO, at changes of plane, liquid membrane alone is not good enough. Nor will bands of reinforcing sheet membrane do the job. Which you have no room to install on the back wall anyway. Because because there is no way to tie the waterproofing to the tub...you have areas of drainage that sit below the tub with nowhere for the water to go.

Looks to me like you need a tub with a tiling flange and the end walls need to be built out to meet the tub.

If you manage to get it cobbled back together, I suggest capping off the shower and using only the tub. Adults only. No kids who like splashy baths.

There is a Daltile Radius Bullnose in the link provided above - link since removed due to the nasty personal attack by the OP...

There are 1900 0100SCRL46691P1 6x6 double bullnose corners at the Daltile 101 Distribution Center in Dallas. If you mean the S4469 bullnose on 1 edge only, there are 1000 of those there. This color and those trim pieces are still being made, and are orderable from anyone carrying Daltile.

I was in my local Daltile ordering a backsplash for a client and thought I would ask. They only sell to the trade, or to a local retailer, so how you buy it is up to you and your local connections.

OP is looking for radius bullnose, which is different from surface bullnose--unfortunately Daltile no longer makes radius bullnose in those sizes. (When I called asking about a different piece they no longer make, the customer service people said for some of the pieces, they just weren't selling enough to warrant keeping them in production--guessing that's the case here too, sadly.)

Thankfully, found exactly one near-perfect tile after hunting for an hour at the local salvage yard. Thank you to anyone who has ever donated odds and ends (particularly, formerly very standard tile finish pieces) to salvage and re-use centers!!

If you have any 6 x 6 or 3 x 6 radius bullnose in 0100 collecting dust, I will happily pay for shipping to take them off your hands as I'm committed to my traditional subway install with the radius bullnose/mudcap.

RE: Waterproofing. Thank you to everyone who expressed concern. The original installer didn't seam the joints of the cement board or waterproof the tub to wall connection properly. We're using Hydro Ban to build up a slope connecting the wall and the tub. The hydro ban has taken a few coats. It's not a perfect solution but the original install lasted 13 years.

The reason for doing this work was to confirm there was no water damage at the seam (which there isn't, thankfully) and to upgrade the caulk which had staining. Since there isn't water damage, we're waterproofing the first 6 inches the best we can without ripping everything out. And we're also using epoxy grout to improve the chance that water and moisture will be able to get in higher up.

Obviously, would be great to be able to redo everything. But I have another bathroom that needs to be redone right away (for the safety of elderly family members). If we'd discovered water damage, we'd be tearing everything out. Since there isn't, being able to repair means getting additional mileage on this bathroom and being able to install the second one. Even a year or two of use will be good enough but the tiler I'm working with now is great and I suspect we may get more than that. Grateful to be able to salvage the work and material that went into this install. The tile runs ten feet tall. The 6 foot long bathtub is an incredible Waterworks cast iron deep soaking tub. And, even though it's not perfect, everything still looks great after 13 years.

If we were in a different climate, or not in a redwood framed building that sits on sand, the moisture issue would be another story. Thankfully, everything just runs through to the sandy soil. So, if there was moisture penetration, any water has dried. But future bathroom installs will be very different than this one was.

I feel your paint. I need a 6x6 cove bullnoes Daltile 0100 and it was super hard for our architect to track down but I guess they at least are still manufacturing them. I live in Manhattan and am driving to Queens tomorrow to pick one up. Yes, we need one friggin tile.

Have you done a google shopping search for this? When I do google shopping searches random pieces sometimes pop up from E Bay.

@artemis78 I lived in the East Bay 20 years ago and spent my days window shopping salvage stores because I couldn't even afford a door knob. I'm sure they are probably all gone now. There used to be an extremely Sanford and Sons place on San Pablo near Emeryville - a total corner junk yard with fantastic stuff at dirt cheap prices. The guy was so nice he used to just give me banged up old junk for free. Hell, the whole place was banged up old junk. I got a 16 drawer army green heavy as hell 1940s filing cabinet there for next to nothing. It was a huge splurge and some guy who had a crush on me lugged it to my 3rd floor walk up. I can't even figure out how he fit it through the door. Ah, the good old days. Salvage One, Omega Salvage, I presume they are all gone?

Ohmega is still here but just for a couple more weeks--they're the ones closing up shop in April. :( Urban Ore in Berkeley will sadly be the only salvage yard left in the area.

Building Resources in SF is 1/4 the size of Urban Ore but does have treasures. There are also a couple of salvage places on the Peninsula. But it will be very sad to not have Ohmega as a resource in the future. It's a bummer someone didn't take them over. Rejuvenation should buy them and sell the original antiques next to their reproductions.

@KendrahBuilding Resources had a bunch of the 0100 bullnose cove when I was there this morning (if you don't locate your tile in NY).

They also had a set of four life size metal terracotta warriors and a horse that were apparently from some garden somewhere. You don't realize how much you need life sized warriors and a horse until they're standing in front of you marked "sold."

Yeah, the challenge I have with Urban Ore is that they pretty much take it all. So the upside--if anyone will have it, they will. The downside--you have to wade through soooo much other stuff to find the treasures. (Also, somehow we always come home with random things we had no idea we needed...) Ohmega was great in part because they curated their stock to minimize the wading. Will definitely miss them--I remember the days when they had vibrant yards full of treasures on both sides of the street taking up half the block.
