Your house is great. That low key nestled-into-nature look is perfect for the house. I could see a pergola adding a horizontal line to the garage...keeping it modern and darker, not white. No white trim. Although emphasized front entries are logical and common, that shaded and protected front entry is also perfect for the style of house. You could maybe out a pergola over that as well, that's an addition I've seen around here to this style of house. Anything that contributes to that protected feeling for the front door. Large lanterns, contemporary style, and this is a house that could take big modern house numbers as well. I also love the suggestion of beefing up the front pathway. A portico over the porch would be a good idea. It will keep the home from feeling so flat. I don't love the idea of shutters just because the windows aren't all the same style and IMO they're too small. I think investing in landscaping once winters over would make more of an impact.

Could you add a couple of photos that show a bit more to the property lines left and right so we can see everything currently in the front yard? I would make the garage doors and all the trim around them the same color. You don’t want to be drawing attention in that area. The area around the front door I would make brighter with color and good lighting. The shrub in the lawn looks a bit unkempt and isn’t placed with any apparent logic relating it to anything else in the yard, so I would likely move or remove it. I would want something a couple of feet tall and rounded in the bed of purple groundcover as well as in a pot between the porch and garage.. The walkway and steps look pinched, so widen the steps and make the walkway wider. Change the placement of the walkway a bit to swing out a bit further from the house if you want to place a plant in the ground rather than a pot between the garage and the porch.

thanks! kendallinsd I think those window changes to the bedrooms would make a big difference to the curb appeal. by the way, I am not against painting brick. if done right, it will be fine. however, yours is a nice muted reddish tone. I think what's not working is that there's too much contrast between the brick and siding, breaking up the shapes. the mockups houssaon and I did for you look better because it gives your house a more cohesive look. I also encourage keeping (or restoring) that pergola. again, it's part of the midcentury shape of that house that makes it special. but like I suggested before, a wood pillar might look better there. have fun. post pics as you improve this adorable home!
