Keep the backsplash simple due to the pattern in the counters. I would let them pull the focus and not add more pattern in the backsplash to fight it.

either the subway or arabesque in white or pearl. i'd probably do the shaped / arabesque tile in the white.

I have fantasy brown right now and the two tiles I got from tile bar look very nice with it. Nabi tile in tundra and Arctic blue.

None of those. first off, NO to the smaller sized tiles (like those sheets w/the 2x4's on them. your countertop is too busy for those smaller tiles. Plus, they just don't fit w/the style you have.

Since you have the warmer wood tones w/the floor and the island, I'd lean more toward slightly warmer whites and grays

I really like this one too. (Check Bedrosians and go through some of their tiles. they have this size, which I think is perfect for a backsplash. please, no 2x4 or 3x6 tiles!)

This is the 5x5 tile (which I like in the offset) in the cloe tile. cloe has a cream too

the two bottom left are Shadebrick, and white pearl glass tile , Oceanside tile.

Subway tile—use Navi blue right above the countertops with a pearl subway tile above. Remember to look at pencil shaped tile for endings and maybe a framed tile mosaic below the hood. I like the keep it simple advice. Beautiful granite and kitchen.

Simple! Something in the whites family with light grout. Fantasy Brown has a lot of movement and your backsplash needs to be “quiet”. I wouldn’t do the grays or taupes because of the color of your cabinets. Less contrast works better - which means the backsplash should blend with the cabinet color.
