Oh those sleepless nights... The worry, the fears, the 2nd guessing. I took forever to choose, my DH built plywood counters with frustration. He wanted dark, I wanted light... we wound up with dark but only because I fell head over heels in love. Wait. I urge you to wait, don't rush this. It is like true love you want it to last. You need to have a spark for your granite. You will be cleaning, scrubbing, and caring for your counters for a long time. Stone is forever. Well until you get a load of money to change it. But plan on it being forever. So you love light...I will post some images so maybe you can convince your Dh to love light too. Keep in mind that the person who cooks and cleans the most should have the bigger vote on the counters. Your question what would I put there... Ummmm so many stones so little time. Swiss Coffee, Dove Wing, Balboa Mist.

I am open to suggestions for redecorating our dining room space, or a different light fixture. We are slowly redoing our home decor. Would like to get rid of the wallpaper and repaint. Change out the furniture in there etc. keep the suggestions coming. Tsk a bunch.

My kitchen is SW Moonmist, living room Behr Russian Blue. I have a room that abuts both and needs a fresh coat of paint. i was going to use SW Alabaster but when I tried it in my hallway it just looked like it was unfinished. I’ve since repainted it in Moonmist. The room gets little light as its two windows open to a wooded area. Any recommendstions? Should I do another blue? Carry the Moonmist into that room? There’s a powder room on the same floor that is BM Normandy. Thank you for any help. I tried to post pictures but they kept posting upside down, no matter what I tried.
